Artykuł jest przyczynkiem do poznania dziejów Szkoły Rzemieślniczo- Przemysłowej Polskiej Macierzy Szkolnej w Ostrołęce w okresie międzywojennym. Został zasygnalizowany jej status, profil i organizacja kształcenia, zadania edukacyjne, wyposażenie, warunki finansowania pracy edukacyjnej oraz uposażenie kadry pedagogicznej i administracyjno-obsługowej. Okazało się, że ta największa szkoła męska na terenie ówczesnego Kuratorium Okręgu Szkolnego Brzeskiego była dobrze wyposażona w sprzęt i pomoce. Na tych ubogich terenach otwierała drogę awansu życiowego młodzieży Ostrołęki, a dzięki bursie również z okolicznych miejscowości.

The article is a contribution to learning about the history of the Polish Craft School in Ostrołęka in the interwar period. Its status, profile and organization of education, educational tasks, equipment, financing conditions for educational work and the salaries of teaching and administrative staff was signaled. It turned out that the largest men's school in the then school board of the Brest School District was well equipped with equipment and aids. In these poor areas, it opened the way for life advancement for the youth of Ostrołęka, and thanks to the dormitory, also from nearby towns.
