This article focuses on the issue of Slavic onomastic (especially Slavic zoonomastic and zoonymy). The main subjects of article are the place of zoonymy in onymical launguage system and terminology of zoonomastic and zoonymy in Slavic languages with particular focus on West- and South Slavic languages. Furthermore, article discusses tendencies which can be observed in contemporary zoonomastical terminology.

Autorka w artykule koncentruje się na problemie słowiańskich onimów (szczególnie słowiańskich zoonomastyków i zoonimów). Głównymi tematami artykułu są: miejsce zoonimii w systemie onimicznym języka oraz terminologia zoonomastyczna i zoonimiczna w językach słowiańskich ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem języków zachodnio- i południowosłowiańskich. Ponadto w artykule omówiono tendencje, które można zaobserwować we współczesnej terminologii zoonomastycznej.
