The proposed approach focuses on changes in her personality taking place at key moments in her life. The source basis are letters from the Voivode of Vilnius to her husband kept in the Central Archives of Historical Records in Warsaw. The authors of this paper made an attempt to present Anna Radziwiłł from the perspective of her roles: wife, mother, and woman.

The article presents the correspondence of the members of the Radziwiłł family from the Birżai line, based mainly on the manuscripts from the National Library in Warsaw (ref. no. III 3277). The letters of Krzysztof Radziwiłł’s (1585-1640) closest relatives: his sister Elżbieta, his wife Anna, his daughter Katarzyna and his granddaughter Anna Maria contain some typical elements – questions about health, expressions of godliness and longing, and feelings towards the addressees. The analysed epistolary texts are mostly edited in a conventional way, although Anna Maria uses quotes, jokes, biblical allusions. Hand-written letters express mainly emotions, containing little information about public matters. They focus above all on the private life.

Artykuł przedstawia kierunki pracy duszpasterskiej jezuitów nieświeskich na podstawie źródeł rękopiśmiennych przechowywanych w Archiwum Rzymskim Towarzystwa Jezusowego. Na tle uwarunkowań prawnych i organizacyjnych tworzących ramy funkcjonowania Towarzystwa Jezusowego w mieście rezydencjonalnym Radziwiłłów autor omawia zjawiska typowe dla religijności epoki potrydenckiej, takie jak kult świętych i ich relikwii oraz działalność bractw kościelnych. The paper presents the pastoral activity of Jesuits in Nieśwież (Niasvizh) on the basis of manuscript sources preserved in the Roman Archive of the Society of Jesus. After considering the situation of the Jesuit fathers in this residential city of the Radziwiłł family, the author analyses some of the typical aspects of post-tridentine Catholicism, such as the cult of saints and relics and the activity of pious confraternities.

The position of the Radziwiłł ordinats (principal heirs) of Nieśwież was expressed in affinities, offices, property and political influence. To determine their position, it is important to present their political influence, which has changed over the entire century. Here, the author discusses changes of the position of three successive ordinats: Chancellor Karol Stanisław, hetman Michał Kazimierz and voivode Karol Stanisław, who won the highest popularity and political position.

Pozycja Radziwiłłów ordynatów na Nieświeżu wyrażała się w koligacjach, pełnionych urzędach, posiadanym majątku i wpływach politycznych. W celu określenia ich pozycji najistotniejsze jest przedstawienie ich wpływów politycznych, które zmieniały się w ciągu całego wieku. Tu omówiono zmiany pozycji trzech kolejnych ordynatów: kanclerza Karola Stanisława, hetmana Michała Kazimierza i wojewody Karola Stanisława, który zdobył największą popularność i pozycję polityczną.

The paper discusses two unpublished drawings presenting the camps of the Lithuanian army during the Khmelnytsky Uprising. They come from the collection of notes and drawings preserved in the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Minsk. This collection, undoubtedly connected with the Radziwiłł family of Birże, has been published several times in Belorussian and in Russian until now, but has not been studied thoroughly enough yet. Previous researchers of the Minsk collection of drawings did not notice i.a. the plans of the military camps, discussed in the article.

В статье рассматриваются два неопубликованных рисунка, на которых представлены лагеря литовской армии во время восстания Хмельницкого. Рисунки взяты из архива заметок и рисунков, хранящихся в Национальном историческом архиве Беларуси в Минске. Эти материалы, несомненно связанные с биржанскими Радзивиллами, публиковались до этого времени несколько раз по-белорусски и по-русски, однако им не были посвящены достаточно подробные исследования. До сей поры исследователи минского собрания рисунков не обратили внимания, в частности, на обговариваемые в статье планы военных лагерей.

Artykuł omawia dwa niepublikowane rysunki przedstawiające obozy wojska litewskiego w czasie powstania Chmielnickiego. Rysunki pochodzą ze zbioru notatek i rysunków przechowywanych w Narodowym Archiwum Historycznym Białorusi w Mińsku. Zespół ten, niewątpliwie związany z Radziwiłłami birżańskimi, publikowano do tej pory kilka razy po białorusku i rosyjsku, jednakże nie poświęcono mu nigdy dostatecznie szczegółowego studium. Dotychczasowi badacze mińskiego zbioru rysunków nie zwrócili uwagi m.in. na omawiane w artykule plany obozów wojskowych.
