Im Beitrag wird unter Bezugnahme auf die Darstellung der Funktionen des Reflexivpronomens laut Reis und Haider das Funktionieren des Reflexivpronomens im Deutschen und im Polnischen besprochen, wobei angeführte Beispiele für die Stellung des Reflexivpronomens in beiden Sprachen zugleich mit Reflexivkonstruktionen im Jiddischen verglichen werden. Damit beabsichtigt der Artikel nachzuweisen, dass die generative Erklärung des Phänomens von anaphorischen, lexikalischen und medialen Reflexivkonstruktionen universal für die deutsche, polnische und jiddische Sprache ist.

n this article, the functioning of the reflexive pronoun in German and Polish is discussed with reference to the presentation of the functions of the reflexive pronoun according to Reis and Haider. The examples given for the position of the reflexive pronoun in both languages are compared with reflexive constructions in Yiddish. Thus, the article aims to prove that the generative explanation of the phenomenon of anaphoric, lexical and medial reflexive constructions is universal for the German, Polish and Yiddish languages.

W artykule omówiono funkcjonowanie zaimka zwrotnego w języku niemieckim i polskim w odniesieniu do opisu funkcji zaimka zwrotnego według Reis i Haidera, przy czym przykłady podane dla pozycji zaimka zwrotnego w obu językach porównano z konstrukcjami zwrotnymi w języku jidysz. Artykuł ma zatem na celu udowodnienie, że generatywny sposób wyjaśnienia zjawiska anaforycznych, leksykalnych i medialnych konstrukcji zwrotnych jest uniwersalny dla języka niemieckiego, polskiego oraz jidysz.
