In this paper, we will describe and systematically discuss the heterogeneous and diversified structure of the current theological and philosophical debate concerning Trinitarian ontology, or Trinitarian metaphysics. Our point of departure will be the New Trinitarian Ontologies conference held in Cambridge in September 2019. Recapitulating the most significant contributions presented at this conference, we will identify the key approaches to the problem of a Trinitarian revision of ontology and gradually reconstruct their main arguments. At the end of our paper, we will be concerned with the mutual relations between these approaches. This should serve to clarify to what extent the postmodern fragmentary and pluralistic discourse of the New Trinitarian Ontologies conference actually converges with both the philosophical and theological core of Trinitarian ontology, to the self‑ giving of the Triune God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
