The article is based on comparative data analysis. The study is diachronic research that provides a statistical analysis of survey data from the years 1988–1998 and 2005–2017. The interpretation is based on empirical questions that include respondents’ opinions and attitudes towards substituting or complementing institutional and face-to-face communication channels within the ecclesial structure, as well as mediating religious practices through the use of the Internet and constructing a virtual parish community.

Artykuł bazuje na analizie danych komparatystycznych. Zrealizowane badanie jest pomiarem diachronicznym konstruującym statystyczny szereg czasowy z lat 1988–1998 – 2005–2017. Interpretacją objęto pytania dotyczące weryfikacji empirycznej obejmującej opinie i postawy badanych wobec substytuowania lub uzupełniania instytucjonalnych i bezpośrednich kanałów komunikacyjnych w obrębie struktury eklezjalnej, a także zapośredniczenia praktyk religijnych przez wykorzystanie Internetu oraz konstruowania wirtualnej wspólnoty parafialnej
