Artykuł przedstawia problematykę przyczyn i metody polityki zagranicznej Ronalda Reagana wobec Afganistanu. Administracja prezydenta Ronalda Reagana przyznała miliony dolarów pomocy, w większości w formie broni i wojskowego szkolenia, dla sławnych partyzantów w Afganistanie, znanych jako mudżahedini. Ich wrogiem była armia radziecka, będąca instrumentem polityki zagranicznej ZSRR.

The article presents issues related to motives, methods of Ronald Reagan’s foreign policy towards Afghanistan. The U.S. President Ronald Reagan administration granted millions of dollars of aid, largely in the form of weapons and military training, to famous guerrillas in Afghanistan, known as the mujahadeen. Their enemy was the Soviet Army, which was an instrument of foreign policy of the USSR.
