After aggression against Ukraine, Russian propaganda was part of a broader concept of the use of soft power, formulated in Russia in the 21st century. The article shows the creation of the structures of the propaganda, whose main aim was the Federal Republic of Germany. The analysis of this propaganda focuses on the use of anti-Americanism, and such political milieus in Germany as Alternative for Germany and some organizations related to the populist -nationalistic conservatism. Attention is drawn to the role that Russia would like to assign to Russlanddeutsche, i.e. to persons of German nationality who resettled to Germany from the former Soviet Union since the 1980s. The end date is 2016, which brought significant changes in this issue. It is then that German public opinion, media, politicians and the relevant state institutions recognized the importance of the Russian propaganda and partially successful Russian attempts to manipulate sentiments in Germany.

The article concerns the mass-media manipulation of information in Russia about RussianUkrainian conflict with the help of the media controlled by government. The authors point out that the Kremlin has always manipulated the content of information and with the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity manipulation and disinformation has gained unimaginable momentum, treating Maidan as a negative event, as a coup. At the moment of aggression, in the network hundreds of websites and social network groups appeared, which „objectively” are informing about the events. The message of this campaign is to justify the uprising against the new, legitimate government in Kiev. The propaganda potential is directed at presentation of the Russian version of events, and the overall aim is to diversify the public opinion. An important point of this strategy is to create an image of Russia as a victim of cynical game of Western establishment, accused on this occasion for a complete distortion of Putin’s image as well as the causes of Ukrainian conflict and its course.

We współczesnym świecie pojęcie wojny ulega definitywnej ewolucji. Federacja Rosyjska poprzez swój przekaz, wykorzystując różnego rodzaju treści propagandowe oraz manipulacyjne, odgrywa istotną opiniotwórczą rolę w krajach należących do swojej bezpośredniej sfery wpływów. Mimo to Mołdawia podejmuje próbę walki z rosyjską propagandą i manipulacją. Będąc niezależnym państwem Mołdawia chce mieć również niezależną sferę informacyjną.

In today's world, the concept of war undergoes a definitive evolution. Evolution which is leading the way to a hybrid war whose main element is the information war. The progressive mediatization of society is the reason that the main battlefield becomes the media sphere. The Russian Federation, through its message, uses a variety of propaganda and manipulative content, plays an important role in the countries of its immediate sphere of influence. One of such countries is Moldova, which since the collapse of the USSR is in the sphere of strategic interests of Russia. An effective tool in the implementation of imperialist policy towards this state is Russian propaganda. Creation of a favourable narrative to Russia in Moldova takes place through the presence of Russian news agencies in this country. This was seen primarily during the last presidential election in which the pro-Russian candidate Igor Dodon won. Despite this, Moldova is trying to fight Russian propaganda and manipulation. As an independent state, Moldova also wants to have an independent information sphere.
