EN
A two-part essay, split into a bibliographical and an interpretative section. The first section determines the date Julian Stryjkowski made his literary debut, basing upon the search query and the writer's utterances, and discusses some of his hitherto-unknown stories dating back to the pre-war period. Part two is a quest for terminology and methodology proving adequate to the autobiographical and monolithic nature of Stryjkowski's output. It attempts at grasping the interrelations between individual works by the author of 'Glosy w ciemnosci' (Voices in the Dark) and outlining a comprehensive self-intertextual perspective.
