The problem of eclectics in sociological theory is considered in the article. The method of regulating the order of theorizing in sociology is proposed. It is based on the idea of the inserted system levels corresponding to the categories the 'universal', 'general', 'special', and 'single'. An advantage of methodological approach to the theorizing in sociology compared with the object one is proved. A system totality of methodological levels is given in which generality decreases in the following order: 'Weltanschauung', 'general-scientific methodology', 'special-scientific methodology', 'individual methods'. There is shown that the theorizing is placed on the level of special-scientific methodology. Four inserted levels in sociologic theorizing in the order of a decrease of generality level are: the social philosophy, social science, theoretical sociology, sociology theories.
