The aim of the paper was to identify and evaluate the changes on the labour market in Poland in the context of the sustainable development idea practice. For this analysis the author used the indicators of sustainable development regarding the access to labour market and employment calculated by Central Statistical Office of Poland (GUS). The level of sustainable development was estimated using synthetic measure constructed with TOPSIS method. It was stated that in the period 2006-2016 most of the sustainable development indicators regarding labour market improved. The most significant progress was noticed in pomorskie and lubuskie voivodships. In contrast, Eastern Poland faced relatively least favourable changes. Moreover, territorial cohesion improved.
