Ze względu na ograniczony dostęp do informacji o funkcjonowaniu funduszy sekurytyzacyjnych w pracy dokonano analizy działalności funduszy sekurytyzacyjnych działających na polskim rynku. Zwrócono szczególną uwagę na współpracę tych podmiotów z sektorem bankowym.

The paper is devoted to securitization and securitization funds operating on the Polish market. At the beginning the securitization process is characterized from the banks perspective. Afterwards the author undertakes an analysis of the securitization funds operating on the Polish market in 2005-2009. Then, the author present, the data showing the rise in banks interest in resale of their claims to securitization funds. An analysis of the investment policies declared by the securitization funds showed that these funds are also interested in taking over debts from banks.
