Artykuł wprowadza w problematykę inwestowania etycznego zwanego również inwestowaniem społecznie odpowiedzialnym - SRI (Socially Responsible Investing). Głównym celem przeprowadzonych przez Autorkę badań było przeanalizowanie popularności inwestowania etycznego wśród polskich inwestorów indywidualnych w Polsce. Wyniki badań wskazują na stosunkowo wysoki stopień świadomości idei inwestowania społecznie odpowiedzialnego wśród respondentów przy jednoczesnym niewielkim jej wykorzystaniu w praktyce inwestycyjnej. Dokładne analizy wyników badań pokazują, że niektóre zmienne demograficzne, takie jak przekonania religijne inwestorów czy płeć mają wpływ na skłonność respondentów do inwestowania etycznego.

This article presents the idea of ethical investing known also as Socially Responsible Investing (SRI). The research conducted by the author aimed to study the popularity of ethical investing among individual investors in Poland. The results of this research indicate a relatively high awareness of the SRI concept among investors, but a low level of applying the SRI idea in investment practice. Further analysis shows that some demographic factors, like religiosity or gender, influence the investors’ attitude towards SRI.
