New Financial Framework 2014–2020 changes the rules of regional public aid. The aim of the article is to present these changes and their impact on the entrepreneurs who want to start their investment with the permit to operate in the special economic zone. The second aim is the analysis of the effects of each of the special economic zones’ activities based on the indicators like the number of permits to conduct business in the areas of special economic zones, the size of capital investment of zones’ entrepreneurs and the level of employment.

W związku z wejściem w życie z dniem 1 lipca 2014 r. mapy pomocy regionalnej na lata 2014–2020 w sposób istotny zmieniły się warunki uzyskiwania regionalnej pomocy publicznej. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja zmian w rozwiązaniach dotyczących pomocy publicznej, dotykających przedsiębiorców chcących rozpocząć działalność na terenie Specjalnej Strefy Ekonomicznej w oparciu o zezwolenie, oraz ocena efektów tych zmian w oparciu o wskaźniki charakterystyczne dla Specjalnych Stref Ekonomicznych.
