Strategiczne myślenie w procesie internacjonalizacji polskich przedsiębiorstw

Celem artykułu jest omówienie ram koncepcyjnych strategicznego myślenia w procesie umiędzynarodowienia przedsiębiorstw oraz weryfikacja stanu strategicznego myślenia wśród badanych polskich przedsiębiorstw. Artykuł, oprócz przeglądu literatury, prezentuje wyniki badań na warstwowo-losowej próbie 355 przedsiębiorstw umiędzynarodowionych z Polski. Ankietyzacja została przeprowadzona przy wykorzystaniu techniki CATI. Wyniki badań potwierdzają, że wielkość przedsiębiorstw wpływa na fakt posiadania przez nie strategii umiędzynarodowienia. Strategiczne myślenie w procesie umiędzynarodowienia przekłada się natomiast na podstawowe charakterystyki opisujące proces internacjonalizacji. Wyniki badań potwierdzają trzy główne zależności: tempo internacjonalizacji, zakres internacjonalizacji, indeks internacjonalizacji.

This article aims at discussing the conceptual framework of strategic thinking in the process of internationalization of firms as well as verifying the state-of-the-art of strategic thinking among the surveyed Polish firms. The article, in addition to the literature review, presents the results of research on the stratified random sample of 355 Polish internationalized firms. The survey was conducted using CATI technique. The results confirm that the size of the firm affects the fact of having the internationalization strategy. Strategic thinking in the process of internationalization is reflected in the basic characteristics describing the process of internationalization of the firms. The results confirm the three main relationships: internationalization speed, internationalization scope, internationalization index.
