Przedmiotem rozważań w artykule jest problem zmian w zakresie funkcjonowania systemu gwarantowania depozytów w Polsce przez pryzmat objęcia gwarancjami sektora spółdzielczych kas oszczędnościowo-kredytowych. Szczególna uwaga zostanie poświęcona instrumentom pomocowym, które Bankowy Fundusz Gwarancyjny może wykorzystać w celu wspierania kas znajdujących się w trudnej sytuacji finansowej.

The subject of discussion in the article is the problem of changes in the functioning of the deposit guarantee scheme in Poland in the context of covering with guarantees cooperative and credit unions’ sector. Particular attention will be devoted to instruments of financial assistance that Bank Guarantee Fund may use to support unions which are in a difficult financial situation.
