In 1980, the authorities of Szadek planned to build an artificial water reservoir in the locality of Szadkowice-Ogrodzim for the recreation and relaxation of its inhabitants. The designed area of the triangular lake was 1.81 ha. The small retention reservoir was to be supplied with water from the Szadkówka River (Pichna from Szadkowice). However, the investment did not take place.

Władze Szadku w 1980 r. planowały w miejscowości Szadkowice-Ogrodzim wybudować sztuczny zbiornik wodny na potrzeby rekreacji i wypoczynku swoich mieszkańców. Projektowana powierzchnia jeziora o kształcie trójkąta wynosiła 1,81 ha. Zbiornik małej retencji miał być zasilany w wodę pochodzącą z rzeki Szadkówki (Pichny z Szadkowic). Do inwestycji jednak nie doszło.
