Christ’s Church has the divine-human nature. John Paul II in his teaching showed the truth about the mystery of the Church which is a reflection of the mystery of the Trinity. Church and its unity has its source and model in the unity of the Persons of the Trinity. Thus, in the Church the community with people and God is carried out through participation in the life of the Trinity. This can be applied to individual persons, stating that the Father is the author of the plan of union with God and with each other. This plan is implemented by the Son of God in the work of redemption of humanity wounded by sin. Mystery of unity is realized by the action of the Holy Spirit, who is the basis for unifying and vivifying community itself. Teaching of John Paul II shows that the unity of the Church is primarily the work and gift of God. This truth, however, motivates the human efforts directed towards achieving the full unity of Christians.

The author of this article presents some ideas about Mary contained in two rather new works. The first one is a lexicon of Mariology. It is a summary of all what took place in this theological field. The second is a small book about the internal relation between God and Mary and its consequences for the human life. It is the work of prof. Pospisil 'Mary - the maternal face of God'. These works are quite new, both in Czech theology and in theology in general. Marienlexicon with its 4300 pages brings together almost everything the present Mariology offers from its treasures. Prof. Pospisil's book, on the other hand, integrates certain individual ideas into the overall field of Mariology. While the authors of the lexicon think about Mary in relationship to the individual persons of the Trinity, prof. Pospisil explores her relationship to the Immanent Trinity. He presents Mariology as a necessary addition to Christology and as a challenge to discover life in its fullness.

The article examines the so-called «Social model of the Trinity» and its implications for theology, religious anthropology, and ecclesiology in its social dimension. The Trinitarian approach of the Cappadocian Fathers is lifted up as a potential source of inspiration for a more complex and dynamic understanding of the Trinity in the West, urging the West to learn from and integrate critically its valuable emphases. The article is constructively critical to the Latin philosophical-theological approach to the definition of the Trinity, suggesting, however, that the commonly accepted ‘de Régnon Paradigm’ among most Western scholars does not reflect de Régnon’s original intentions and does not do justice to the natural affinity and even overlapping of ideas and emphases between the socalled ‘Latin’ and ‘Greek’ approaches to the philosophical-theological question of the Trinity.

The first Ukrainian translation of the work of Achard of Saint-Victor 'De unitate et pluralitate creaturam' is proposed. Translator also adds commentary consisting of two parts. In the first part, author describes circumstances of the life of Achard of Saint-Victor, his place among others XIIth century authors and mains points of his philosophical teaching. The doctrinal content and history of the 'De unitate et pluralitate creaturam' are also exposed. In the second part, questions appeared in the process of translation of the Achard's work to Ukrainian are regarded, notably the problem of translation of philosophical terms in the context of present philosophical tradition.

The article describes selected questions from theological anthropology including how they were developed by Olivier Clément and Jürgen Moltmann. The interest of both authors was to indicate relationality as the main concept in thinking about human beings. They are interested in depicting certain terms such as person, nature, image, similitude or deification. The authors were chosen because of their similar point of view on anthropology, but also because of the fact that they are from different Christian traditions. The article comes to the conclusion that a human being is not an objective fact which can be analysed with separate terms, but is a unity of different dimensions, which are intrinsically interconnected. In the similar way, this unity is linked to human society, the environment and God. The physical body as the natural part of a human being has a significant rehabilitation in this type of anthropology: it has the same right to redemption as other human dimensions.
