Sexualität der Menschen, die als eines von vielen Themen im Alltag erscheint und die auch literarisch aus vielerlei Perspektiven aufgegriffen wird, wird hier und da gerne tabuisiert. Lukas Bärfuss, Vertreter der jungen, deutschsprachigen Schweizer Literatur, setzt sich mit diesem Thema auf eine sehr provozierende Art und Weise auseinander. In seinem Theatertext Die sexuellen Neurosen unserer Eltern führt er die Leser in ein verklemmtes Milieu, in dem seine geistig behinderte Protagonistin Dora ihre Sexualität entdeckt. Was daraus wird, wie der Autor damit umgeht und es in Sprache umsetzt, wird zum Thema der Überlegungen.

People’s sexuality, which appears as one of many topics in everyday life and which has been approached in the literature from a variety of perspectives, has often been tabooed. Lukas Bärfuss, a representative of the young Swiss German literature, is dealing with this topic in a very provocative way. In his theatrical text The sexual neuroses of our parents, he leads the readers into an inhibited milieu in which his mentally handicapped protagonist Dora discovers her sexuality. What becomes of it, how the author deals with it and puts it to practice, will become the subject of the considerations.

Against the backdrop of the outright phobic tabooisation and removal of eroticism and sexuality from the arts and from all areas of public life in the ‘socialist society’ following February 1948, the erotic texts of Jana Krejcarová represent a ‘total’ provocation and subversion of the sexless socialistic realism and its petty prudishness. The extreme obscenity of Jana Krejcarová’s erotic texts, which also contain elements of parody and irony, coupled with the high degree of aggressivity and fierceness (especially the ‘Letter’ addressed to Egon Bondy from the year 1962), can be read and interpreted also as ‘revenge’ for the devaluation of physicality and sexuality. Nevertheless, the subversive excesses in her ‘poetry of the obscene’ constitute another, latent plane, on which obscenity appears as an ambivalent phenomenon: as an excess and the tearing down of all boundaries it refers to its ‘opponents’: order, the setting of boundaries, and melancholy.

Den Artikel eröffnet die Frage nach der menschlichen Körperlichkeit und dem Körper, der als fremd und entwertet wahrgenommen wird, was wiederum den Anlass zur Analyse des Entwurfs des Abjekten gibt, eines Begriffs, der sich auf die Ekel erregenden Dimensionen der Körperlichkeit bezieht. Der Artikel beschäftigt sich weiter mit der Analyse der Anwendungsarten des Entwurfs abject in der polnischen und ausländischen Gegenwartskunst, z. B. in den Arbeiten solcher Künstler wie Grzegorz Klaman, Magdalena Moskwa, Karolina Żyniewicz, Cindy Sherman oder Casey Jenkins.

The article starts with a theme of corporeality as well as a human body perceived as unfamiliar and depreciated, which enables the analysis of the idea of abject, related to those dimensions of a body which arouses disgust. The remaining part of the article is dedicated to the analysis of ways of application of the abject in polish and foreign contemporary art, based on examples of such artists as: Grzegorz Klaman, Magdalena Moskwa, Karolina Żyniewicz, Cindy Sherman or Casey Jenkins.

Artykuł otwiera kwestia ludzkiej cielesności, oraz ciała, postrzeganego jako obce i deprecjonowane, co stanowi z kolei przyczynek do analizy koncepcji abiektalności, jako pojęcia odnoszącego się do wymiarów cielesności budzących wstręt. Pozostała część artykułu poświęcona jest analizie sposobów zastosowania koncepcji abject w polskiej oraz zagranicznej sztuce współczesnej, na przykładach prac takich artystów jak: Grzegorz Klaman, Magdalena Moskwa, Karolina Żyniewicz, Cindy Sherman czy Casey Jenkins.

Tematem eseju jest specyficzna sytuacja komunikacyjna powstała w wyniku wybuchu niedającego się stłumić śmiechu w zakazanych kontekstach. Doświadczenie z dzieciń-stwa stało się okazją do refleksji nad uwikłaniem komunikacyjnym zakazanego śmiechu. Jednocześnie podjęta została próba charakterystyki śmiechu jako specyficznego systemu znaków służących komunikacji oraz jako aktu czysto cielesnego.

The essay explores the question of what happens in forbidden contexts when laughter cannot be suppressed. A childhood experience is the occasion to reflect on the communicative relations of forbidden laughter. Laughter is pointed out as a special communica-tive sign system and physical act.

Der Essay geht der Frage nach, was passiert, wenn das Lachen in verbotenen Kon-texten sich nicht unterdrücken lässt. Ein Kindheitserleben ist der Anlass über die kommunikativen Verhältnisse des verbotenen Lachens nachzudenken. Es wird dabei auf das Lachen als ein besonderes kommunikatives Zeichensystem und körperliches Ereignis hingewiesen.
