The empirical study is looking for the answer to the question which teaching methods are of use in the teaching style of Geography teachers. The empirical investigation is designed as qualitative-quantitative. The study aims to compare the observed teachers and, based on inductive approach, to create an outline of typical approaches by which the conditions for the realization of the educational content and the classroom processes are arranged. It seems that some of the observed teachers take total responsibility for the realization of lessons, others are trying to support the students’ independence and verbal skills.
