The article is an attempt to interpret the poem Masmix (written by Tomasz Pułka) in terms of the relationship that the piece makes with other author’s poems (especially those published on the Internet) and the works of Stanisław Barańczak or Philip Larkin. Due to the contextual reading it is revealed that the most important subject of the discussed text is the problem of space, which is later examined in reference to the Plato’s and Derrida’s category of Chora.

Artykuł jest próbą interpretacji wiersza Masmix Tomasza Pułki pod kątem relacji, jakie utwór nawiązuje z innymi lirykami poety (zwłaszcza tymi publikowanymi w przestrzeni cybernetycznej) oraz z dziełami Stanisława Barańczaka czy Philipa Larkina. Pod wpływem lektury kontekstowej ujawnione zostaje, że najistotniejszym tematem omawianego tekstu jest przestrzeń; ostatecznie szkic proponuje analizę wiersza w odniesieniu do Platońskiej i Derridiańskiej kategorii Chory.

The paper is an attempt at drawing the relationships between realism and mise en abyme. Starting with Artur Sandauer’s concept, who understood the development of mise en abyme poetics as a result of the demise of realist ideas, the text discusses the connections that take place between those seemingly contradictory tendencies in the history of literature, referring to philosophy and linguistics. The proposed theses are supported by an interpretation of the poem “Kochana liryko” by Tomasz Pułka which shows how modern Polish poetry positions itself against the possibility to experience reality in art and the very definition of art.

Artykuł jest próbą zarysowania relacji między pojęciami realizmu i autotematyzmu. Wychodząc od koncepcji Artura Sandauera, który uznawał rozwój poetyki samotematycznej za konsekwencję wygaśnięcia idei realistycznych, tekst odwołuje do powiązań zachodzących między pozornie sprzecznymi tendencjami w historii literatury, wspierając się myślą filozoficzną i językoznawczą. Proponowane tezy poparte są praktyką w postaci interpretacji wiersza Kochana liryko Tomasza Pułki, pokazującego, jak najnowsza polska poezja ustawia się względem możliwości poznania rzeczywistości w sztuce oraz samej definicji sztuki.
