The article analyses one of the eighteenth-century maps of the Bug river’s bed near Brok and Morzyczyn Włościański. The map is kept in the collections of the convent of the Visitation Nuns in Warsaw. The results presented in the article contributed to the dating of the map and the determination of its scale. Additionally, an attempt was made to analyse the environmental context of the Bug riverbed three centuries ago.

Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia analizę jednej z osiemnastowiecznych map koryta Bugu na wysokości miejscowości Brok i Morzyczyn Włościański, która przechowywana jest obecnie w zbiorach klasztoru zgromadzenia ss. wizytek w Warszawie. Wyniki przedstawione w artykule przyczyniły się wydatowania tego zabytku i określenia jego skali. Dodatkowo podjęta została próba szerszego przeanalizowania kontekstów środowiskowych koryta Bugu przed trzema wiekami.
