Zróżnicowanie poziomu rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego obszarów wiejskich województwa warmińsko-mazurskiego na tle kraju według miernika Hellwiga

The aim of the study is to determine the level of socio-economic development of rural and urban-rural communes of Warmia and Mazury in relation to 2173 Polish rural and urban-rural communes in 2011. The study was based on 15 variables representing following areas: entrepreneurship, labour market, technical and social infrastructure, demographic potential, local government finance. The analyses using the taxonomic development measure show a clear differentiation in the development level of communes in Warmia and Mazury Province. Stawiguda and Dywity, two suburban communes of Olsztyn, the capital of the province, take the highest places in the ranking and their localisation make the socio-economic development process easier.

Celem opracowania jest określenie poziomu rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego gmin wiejskich i miejsko-wiejskich województwa warmińsko-mazurskiego w odniesieniu do gmin wiejskich i miejsko-wiejskich Polski w 2011 roku. W badaniu wykorzystano 15 zmiennych reprezentujących następujące obszary: przedsiębiorczość, rynek pracy, infrastruktura techniczna i społeczna, potencjał demograficzny, finanse samorządów lokalnych. Podczas analiz zastosowano taksonomiczny miernik rozwoju. Przeprowadzone analizy wskazują na wyraźne zróżnicowanie poziomu rozwoju gmin województwa warmińsko-mazurskiego. Najwyższe miejsca w rankingu zajmują dwie gminy podmiejskie stolicy województwa: Stawiguda i Dywity, a renta ich położenia ułatwia im proces rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego.
