W dniach 19–22 maja 2016 roku na PGE Narodowym odbyły się 7. Warszawskie Targi Książki oraz 10. Targi Książki Akademickiej i Naukowej ACADEMIA. Wzięło w nich udział ośmiuset piętnastu wystawców z dwudziestu pięciu krajów, a odwiedziło je ponad 70 tys. osób. Było to prawdziwe święto miłośników książek, podczas którego przyznano wiele ważnych nagród m.in. IKAR, Międzynarodową Nagrodę im. Ryszarda Kapuścińskiego, nagrodę za najlepszą książkę akademicką i naukową ACADEMIA, ECONOMICUS, nagrodę Stowarzyszenia Bibliotekarzy Polskich czy nagrodę Lwa Hieronima. Ponadto odwiedzający mieli okazję wziąć udział w licznych wykładach i prelekcjach, spotkać się z autorami oraz skorzystać z bogatej oferty stoisk.

On 19–22 May 2016 year, the National PGE held 7. Warsaw Book Fair and the 10. Academic and Scientific Book Fair ACADEMIA. It was attended by eight hundred fifteen exhibitors from twenty-five countries and was visited by 70 128 people. It was a true celebration of book lovers, during which many important awards including IKAR, the International Prize of Ryszard Kapuściński, award for the best book of academic and scientific ACADEMIA, ECONOMICUS, the Polish Librarians Association award or award of Lew Hieronim. Visitors have the opportunity to take part in numerous lectures, meet with authors and use of a large offers of stands.
