The article is dealing with the contents of both works and their rhetoric treatment. While stylistic figures in Ackermann aus Böhmen are arranged into general, mostly triplet structures, the precise expression of the statment is reached by their incessant heaping and multiplying in Tkadleček. In both cases stylistic means serve to elevate the contents. The article, besides, deals with a possible addressee of the work – Ackermann. It also brings a new translation of Ackerman aus Böhmen.

The study places its focus on the Hussite invective from 1416 against the Kutná Hora preacher Hermann, which has so far been reflected only on the basis of an incomplete edition from the 19th century. After presenting the whole agitation letter, the author examines the credibility of Master Hermann’s preaching work in Kutná Hora and searches for his identity. He focuses on the personality of the Prague doctor of theology and the auxiliary bishop Hermann of Mindelheim and comes to the conclusion that the Kutná Hora preacher Hermann was most likely this Bavarian native. The study thus sheds new light on the transformation of Kutná Hora into an early anti-Hussite centre.

The article focuses on the known details of the arranged marriage of Elizabeth of Luxembourg (1390–1451), the only daughter of Duke John of Görlitz, the grand daughter of the Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia Charles IV, and her wedding with Anthony of Valois (1384–1415), Duke of Burgundy and Brabant, on July 16, 1409. The main source of information was the Chronicle of noble dukes of Lorraine and Brabant and kings of France (Chronica nobilissimorum ducum Lotharingiae et Brabantiae ac regum Francorum), written by Emond Dynter (1370/80–1449), the court historiographer of Duke of Burgundy, Philip the Good of Valois. The chronicle describes the negotiations between the Brabant messengers and King Wenceslas IV and on the bride’s journey to Leuven and the representative wedding ceremony.

Already during his lifetime, King of Bohemia and the Romans Wenceslas IV was labelled as a bad ruler, who did not take care of the administration of the lands - neither those of the Empire nor the Czech Lands. He was very often accused of the decline of the Church, the inability to resolve the Papal Schism, but also very personal defamations were spread about him in Europe, which were purposefully to deform the image of the king further. One of them is also the accusation for favouring the Jews too much, whom he even favoured against Christians according to some sources. Apparently, Ludolf of Sagan wrote the most extremely in this regard of King of Bohemia and the Romans Wenceslas IV in his work "Tractatus de longevo schismate". Besides many bad characteristics, he directly labelled the sovereign with the title of the Jewish king. However, Ludolf of Sagan was not the only one, who criticized the king for his overprotection of the Jews. The majority of these critics came from the Czech Lands.

The government of Wenceslas IV is often viewed stereotypically, more or less negatively, which applies equally to the personality of the Czech king. Because of her broader interest in this monarch, the author attempts to explore one aspect of his government, namely Wenceslas’s relationship with the neighbouring Lands of the Bohemian Crown. Lower Lusatia, hitherto an ignored Crown Land, served as a model. The main objective of this study is to take stock of the ruler’s documents concerning Lusatia dating from 1364–1419. The collections in the Brandenburg Regional Archives in Potsdam, where the vast majority of the documents for Lower Lusatia is deposited today, serve as the main guidelines to me.

Conciliarism is the theory of the supremacy of the Council over the papacy. The study investigates whether such ideas were known in Bohemia. It traces the environment of the court of Wenceslas IV, the role of the University of Prague, Hussitism with its Wycliffian definition of the Church, and the period after the conclusion of the Compactata and during the reign of George of Poděbrady. The knowledge of conciliarist theories in Bohemia is a fact, even if their development and application did not take place on Bohemian soil. The Czech lands were not a fertile ground for Conciliarist ideas, yet at certain moments the Czech environment reached for Conciliarist arguments.

The hoard from Krzczonów (Opatowiec community, kazimierski district) was discovered in 2002 during construction works on a private property. The entire deposit consists of 5,264 coins – Polish, Bohemian, Silesian, Pomeranian and Hungarian. The article presents 137 coins from the Krzczonów hoard – 128 Prague groschen of Wenceslas IV and nine hellers of Henry I, Duke of Münsterberg-Oels from the Kłodzko county. This small fragment of this hoard shows its scientific value and research perspectives. The very interesting results of the study of only a few percent of the entire find – inter alia the identification of the posthumous Prague groschen of Wenceslas IV – give high hopes that after the entire deposit has been processed, we will do much more about the monetary circulation in the late 15th century between Krakow and Kielce area.

Skarb z Krzczonowa (gm. Opatowiec, pow. kazimierski) odkryty został w 2002 r. podczas prac budowlanych na prywatnej posesji. Cały depozyt liczy 5264 monety – polskie, czeskie, śląskie, pomorskie i węgierskie.
