Der Artikel setzt sich zum Ziel, ausgewählte Fragen und Begriffe im philosophischethischen Gedanken von Tadeusz Czeżowski aus der Perspektive gegenwärtiger sozialer Wirklichkeit zu interpretieren. Die Bedeutung und die möglichen Beziehungen zwischen den Kategorien der Werte, des Wohls, der Wertkriterien gehören zu stets aktuellen praktischen Problemen, die nicht nur in akademischen Auseinandersetzungen sondern auch in der Praxis des sozialen Zusammenlebens wichtig sind. Einen wesentlichen Bestandteil der Überlegungen bildet die Analyse des von Czeżowski vorgeschlagenen Konzepts von Glück und von Wegen, die zu seiner Erreichung führen. Es ist eine Fragestellung, die bisher in einschlägigen Abhandlungen nur marginal behandelt wurde. Die vorgelegten Reflexionen sollen diese Lücke ausfüllen.

The aim of the present paper is to interpret select concerns and ideas inherent in the philosophical and ethical thought of Tadeusz Czeżowski, contextualised in the contemporary social reality. The meaning and the potential relationships linking the categories of values, the notion of good, and the criteria of values are the ever up-to-date and relevant practical problems, crucial not only to academic debates but to everyday social praxis as well. An important element of the paper is the analysis of the concept of happiness and potential means of attaining it, as posited by Czeżowski. This ingredient of Czeżowski’s thought has thus far been marginalised in the scholarship devoted to the subject in question. The present paper attempts to bridge the gap between the academic centre and the periphery.

Celem artykułu jest interpretacja wybranych zagadnień i pojęć zawartych w filozoficznoetycznej myśli Tadeusza Czeżowskiego w perspektywie współczesnych realiów społecznych. Znaczenie oraz możliwe relacje łączące kategorie wartości, dobra, kryteriów wartości należą do stale aktualnych problemów praktycznych, istotnych nie tylko w dyskusjach o charakterze akademickim, lecz również w praktyce życia społecznego. Istotnym fragmentem poniższych rozważań jest analiza proponowanej przez T. Czeżowskiego koncepcji szczęścia oraz ewentualnych dróg jego osiągnięcia. Jest to zagadnienie, które było dotąd traktowane marginalnie w opracowaniach poświeconych jego poglądom. Zawarte tu refleksje mają na celu wypełnienie tej luki.
