Yezidis is a religious group of Yezidi faith, sometimes identifying with Kurds or considering themselves a separate ethnic group. Parts of the Yezidi diaspora are scattered mainly in the countries of the Middle East. In Armenia, they are the largest minority in this country, with a population of around 30,000. The article presents the process of Yezidi acculturation in Armenia. The concept of acculturation of D. Sam and J. Berry, which takes into account the degree to which people want to preserve their identity and culture, and the degree to which they want to be in contact with people outside their own group and participate in everyday life within the framework of wider society, turned out to be helpful here. In the case of the Armenian Yezidis, the acculturation process is quite diverse, as it extends between integrating with the Armenian society and remaining on the margins of it.

The Polish women’s relationships with partners of diwerent cultures raise a lot of contro versy, emotion and conicting ratings, although this is a frequent occurrence in Great - Britain. You can o¢en see Polish women with Arabic, Hindi or even with Latin partners, but not always you can see this with a favourable opinion other Polish people. A decision about sharing a life with someone with a diwerent culture, religion or language is an interest to many researchers.

Praca opisuje problematykę migracji, imigrantów oraz uchodźców przedstawioną w kwartalniku Journal of Immigrant and Refugee Studies w latach 2002–2013.Wszystkie artykuły opublikowane w czasopiśmie (264) zostały podzielone na sześć części (tematów): ramy migracji, proces integracji (akulturacji), zdrowie psychiczne i fizyczne uchodźców oraz imigrantów, problemy adaptacyjne wśród nastoletnich imigrantów oraz uchodźców w domu i w szkole, imigranci w mediach oraz imigranci w krajach rozwijających się. Mam nadzieję, że ten przegląd da czytelnikom uporządkowane i dobrze skonstruowane spojrzenie na problematykę uchodźców oraz imigrantów w różnych krajach na świecie.

The paper characterizes issues connected with migration, immigrants and refugees in the pages of Journal of Immigrant and Refugee Studies in the years 2002–2013. I divided all articles from the Journal (264) into six parts/subjects: a framework for migration; integration (acculturation) process; mental and physical health among refugees and immigrants; adaptation problems among adolescent immigrants and refugees in home and in school; immigrants in media and immigrants in developing countries. I hope that this review will help the readers obtain an organized and well-structured perspective about issues related to refugees and immigrants in various countries in the world.
