The article is a part of a more comprehensive study. Part I encompasses a period of time from the 1st of September 1939 to the 31st of July 1940, while the second part contains a period from the 1st of August 1940 to the 31st of July 1941. The present paper constitutes part III which encapsulates a period covering the time between the 1st of August 1941 and the 27th of December 1944. The purpose of this article is to present the competences of the bodies of the German territorial administration in the General Government during the indicated time period. These competences stemmed from the provisions introduced by the German occupation authorities. The internal structure of the study is based on a mixed criterion (chronological and substantive). In the first place, the regulations concerning the addition of the new Galicia district to the General Government are delineated. Later, the paper presents regulations concerning administration at a district, country, and commune level as well as selected acts in the field of special administration. In the subsequent parts, normative acts are referenced in chronological order (with concessions made to the substantive criterion).

Artykuł stanowi część obszerniejszego opracowania. Jego część I obejmuje okres od 1.09.1939 r. do 31.07.1940 r., część II – okres od 1.08.1940 r. do 31.07.1941 r., a niniejsze opracowanie to część III – ukazująca okres od 1.08.1941 r. do 27.12.1944 r. Przedstawiono w nim kompetencje organów niemieckiej administracji terytorialnej w Generalnym Gubernatorstwie we wskazanym okresie. Wynikały one z przepisów ustanawianych przez niemieckie władze okupacyjne. Struktura opracowania opiera się na kryterium mieszanym (chronologicznym i merytorycznym). W pierwszej kolejności zaprezentowano uregulowania dotyczące przyłączenia do GG nowego dystryktu Galicja, dalej przepisy odnoszące się do administracji na szczeblu dystryktu, powiatu i gminy, a także wybrane akty z zakresu administracji specjalnej. W kolejnych fragmentach przywoływano akty normatywne w kolejności chronologicznej (z ustępstwami na rzecz kryterium merytorycznego).
