Zasadniczym celem opracowania jest porównanie sytuacji pokolenia 50 plus na rynku pracy w województwach Polski, a także identyfikacja zależności przestrzennych, łącznie (ogółem) oraz w ramach różnych obszarów (kategorii) charakteryzujących sytuację pokolenia 50 plus na rynku pracy. Badanie prowadzono zarówno w wymiarze przestrzennym, jak i czasowym, z wykorzystaniem zmiennej syntetycznej, co umożliwiało uzyskanie oceny z punktu widzenia kilku cech diagnostycznych, bowiem rynek pracy jest kategorią złożoną i stosowanie pojedynczych miar względnych mogłoby prowadzić do jednostronnej analizy. Na podstawie uzyskanych wartości zmiennych syntetycznych, za pomocą globalnej i lokalnej statystyki Morana, przeprowadzono identyfikację występowania autokorelacji przestrzennych.

The chief purpose of this study is to compare and contrast the situation of the 50+ generation on the labour market in the voivodships of Poland and to identify spatial dependencies, both generally and in individual areas characterising the situation of this group on the labour market. The study was conducted both in the spatial and temporal dimension using the synthetic variable which allowed to obtain the evaluation on the basis of several diagnostic features; this is so as the labour market is a complex category and using singular relative gauges could lead to the analysis becoming skewed. The obtained synthetic variables were used to identify the occurrence of spatial autocorrelations with the global and local Moran’s I statistics.
