Słowo o amelioratywach i pejoratywach w kręgu mowy, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem mownej aprobaty / dezaprobaty działań

The author claims that whoever praises an utterance which is in his/her opinion untrue must of necessity praise something which is in his/her opinion true; e.g. his/ her opinion praising the supposedly untrue utterance. Whoever praises an utterance which is in his/her opinion true need not to praise any utterance which is in his/her opinion untrue. What all of this entails is the following: general approval of non-veracity is impossible (by being self-contradictory) whereas total approval of veracity and only this approval is non-selfcontradictory.The author presents a proportional picture of approvals and disapproval of actions. The label used are: ‘tolerance’, ‘zero tolerance’ as amelioratives, and ‘permissivism’, ‘intolerance’ as pejoratives. The attitudes denoted with the above levels are always subjective.

Autor twierdzi, że ktokolwiek pochwala czyjąś wypowiedź, która jest jego zdaniem nieprawdziwa, musi z konieczności pochwalać czyjeś powiedzenie czegoś, co jest jego zdaniem prawdą; np. swoje własne zdanie chwalące ową wypowiedź nieprawdziwą. Ktokolwiek pochwala czyjąś wypowiedź, która jest jego zdaniem prawdziwa, nie musi jednocześnie pochwalać niczyjego powiedzenia czegoś, co nie jest jego zdaniem prawdą. Wszystko to łącznie stanowi o tym, że bezwzględna aprobata nieprawdomówności jest niemożliwa (jako wewnętrznie sprzeczna), podczas gdy totalna aprobata prawdomówności i tylko ona jest niesprzeczna wewnętrznie.Autor przedstawia ściśle proporcjonalny obraz aprobaty i dezaprobaty działań. Stosowane pojęcia to: ‘tolerancja’, ‘zero tolerancji’ jako amelioratywy oraz ‘permisywizm’, ‘nietolerancja’ jako pejoratywy. Postawy oznaczone powyższymi pojęciami są zawsze subiektywne.
