Established in Reykjavik in 1987, Studio Granda is one of Iceland’s most acclaimed architectural companies. The studio’s work is associated with their projects embedded in the landscape of the island. From the company’s vast creative output, works created in cooperation with various Icelandic artists have been selected, capturing the unique compositional solutions, enriching the Icelandic landscape. The article presents the way the synthesis of art and architecture influences the process of discovering the place that unifies nature with culture.

Twórczość grupy kojarzona jest z realizacjami mocno osadzonymi w krajobrazie wyspy. Z bogatego dorobku twórczego architektów wybrano realizacje powstałe we współpracy z islandzkimi artystami, czego efektem są unikatowe rozwiązania kompozycyjne wzbogacające krajobraz Islandii. Artykuł ukazuje, jak synteza sztuki i architektury wpływa na proces poznawania miejsca, unifikując naturę z kulturą.
