Characteristic of philosophical inquiry is obligation to argumentation. The goal of argumentation is to give a support for thesis. To achieve the goal philosopher utilises multitude types of arguments. In area of philosophy scholar try to solve certain problem and in the attempt to solve problem reasoned argument (and analysis) plays crucial part. The aim of this paper is to describe and critically examine two types of philosophical arguments: argumentum ad absurdum and pragmatic argument.
