Artykuł ten porusza zagadnienie metodologii indygenicznej, która wpisuje się w szerszą refleksję nad emancypacyjnym paradygmatem badań jakościowych, zorientowanych na lokalne, kulturowo zróżnicowane społeczności. Autorka przedstawia źródła oraz cechy charakterystyczne metodologii indygenicznych, wskazując na ich konkretne przejawy w ramach projektów badawczych z Australii, Kanady i Nowej Zelandii o społeczno-kulturowej proweniencji. W kontekście praktycznym refleksje te mogą posłużyć za inspirację dla kulturowo wrażliwych (dotyczących mniejszości kulturowych lub społeczności wykluczonych), idiograficznych projektów badawczych, wzbogacając nie tylko warsztat badacza, lecz także przyczyniając się do zwiększenia pola świadomych wyborów metodologicznych socjologów, pedagogów, etnografów i innych przedstawicieli europejskich nauk społecznych i humanistycznych.

This article tackles the issue of indigenous methodology, which is a part of a wider reflection over emancipatory paradigm within qualitative inquiry, oriented at local, culturally diverse communities. The author presents the origins and typical features of indigenous methodologies, pointing to their specific exemplification within research designs originating from the social and cultural realm of New Zealand, Australia and Canada. In practical terms, this article can provide an inspiration for the culturally sensitive, idiographic research projects, enriching not only the workshop of a researcher, but also contributing to the widening of the scope of selecting methodology for sociologists, pedagogues, ethnographers and other representatives of the European academia.
