At the turn of the 20th and 21st century, religiosity in Poland varies so much that we can talk about the appearance of a new form of spirituality. It is a continuous process, but trying as an object of sociological research because of the diversity of attitudes towards institutionalized religion. We can formulate the assumption that both the process of secularisation and desecularisation are observed in the area of behaviour, emotions and aspirations to the knowledge of the order existing in the world surrounding the human. Post-modern spirituality is a desire to know the truth in the reasons for the existence of reality, understood in a deterministic or indeterministic manner. Deterministic beliefs about governance in the world have religious dimension that has a direct relationship to faith in God or impersonal supernatural forces. The indeterministic conviction about the order existing in the world results from the assumption that it is humanity who establishes this order, and it is on its knowledge, inquisitiveness and wisdom based on experience that the discovery of objective truth depends. A discussion on these two forms of post-modern spirituality, referred to as sophia and logos, is the subject of the analysis contained in this paper. The entire analysis takes into account only the axiological and normative system of post-modern religiosity and spirituality.

This paper is focused on values, norms, and actions that – on the one hand – are propagated and undertaken (and certainly declared) by the Józef Piłsudski Shotgun Association “Shooter” , and – on the other hand – that are confessed and implemented (and certainly declared) by its young members. Characteristics of both axiological and normative systems of this association – official and declared by ordinary members – were made on the basis of the analysis of documents and public statements, and survey research as well. With the help of these studies, the type of patriotism prevailing in the beliefs of the shooters was also tried to be identified. For that reason, three types of patriotism - of a flag, emblem, and fist - have been proposed. On the basis of our research, we propose an axiological and normative concept of the young members of that association, and several remarks were made on the role of this association as a component of the socialization system.

Tekst został poświęcony wartościom, normom oraz działaniom z jednej strony propagowanym i podejmowanym, a na pewno deklarowanym przez Związek Strzelecki „Strzelec” Józefa Piłsudskiego jako organizację, z drugiej zaś wyznawanym i realizowanym (na pewno deklarowanym) przez jego przede wszystkim nastoletnich aktywistów. Charakterystyki obu systemów aksjonormatywnych stowarzyszenia – oficjalnego i deklarowanego przez szeregowych członków – dokonano na podstawie analizy dokumentów i publicznych wypowiedzi jego liderów oraz w oparciu o wyniki przeprowadzonych badań ankietowych. Z ich pomocą próbowano też określić typ patriotyzmu dominującego w przekonaniach badanych strzelców. W tym celu zaproponowano trzy kategorie patriotyzmu: flagi, godła i pięści. W konsekwencji dokonanych ustaleń naszkicowano aksjonormatywny portret nastoletnich członków związku i sformułowano kilka postulatów dotyczących roli tego stowarzyszenia jako składowej systemu socjalizacji.
