Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie badań w dziedzinie fonetyki artykulacyjnej języka polskiego. Najpierw omówiono pokrótce badania instrumentalne i eksperymentalne polskiej artykulacji prowadzone do 1970 roku, a następnie opisano badania przeprowadzone w latach 90. XX wieku i w XXI wieku. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono analizom przeprowadzonym z wykorzystaniem artykulografii elektromagnetycznej (EMA), by na koniec podjąć dyskusję na temat wybranych zagadnień prowadzonych na większą skalę w bieżącym projekcie badawczym poświęconym analizie artykulacji w języku polskim.

This paper aims to present research in the area of articulatory phonetics of Polish. First, we discuss briefly instrumental and experimental studies of Polish articulation that had been conducted by the 1970s and then we describe investigations of Polish articulation carried out in 1990s and in the 21st century. We focus on research completed with the use of electro-magnetic articulography (EMA) and, finally, we discuss selected issues of a larger-scale on-going EMA project of ours aimed at an in-depth analysis of Polish articulation.
