Bariery innowacyjności małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw w polsce

The article describes the problems and barriers for small and medium-sized companies in Poland, which are on their way, developing innovative businesses. It also describes the factors which affect these situations. It shows the definition of “innovation” by EU standards. The level of innovation in these companies was evaluated, which made it possible to identify the main reasons for the low, in this context, level of innovation and key factors influencing the development of innovation. It was identified that the significant impact on shaping these factors and creating favorable conditions for the development of companies, is dependent on appropriate government policy. Recommendations were formulated for promoting innovation of Polish SMEs.

W artykule scharakteryzowano problemy i bariery małych i średnich przedsię- biorstw w Polsce na drodze do rozwijania działalności innowacyjnej, opisano także czynniki, które wpływają na taką sytuację. Przedstawiono ujęcie „innowacji” w rozumieniu UE. Ocenie poddano poziom innowacyjności tych przedsiębiorstw, co pozwoliło zidentyfikować główne przyczyny niskiego w tym kontekście poziomu oraz czynniki kluczowe dla rozwijania innowacyjności. Wskazano, że znaczący wpływ na kształtowanie tych czynników i tworzenie warunków sprzyjających rozwojowi przedsiębiorstw ma odpowiednia polityka państwa. Sformułowano rekomendacje w zakresie wspierania innowacyjności polskich MŚP.
