The subject of the article is the assessment of the mediation settlement in the context of the basis for entry in Divisions II and IV of the land and mortgage register. Due to the fact that the mediation settlement is a private document and the variety of legal solutions depending on the type of proceedings (civil, criminal, administrative), the scope of admissibility of entries on the basis of the document may raise doubts. First, the basis of entry in relation to public and private documents will be presented. Then, the subject of the analysis will be a mediation settlement concluded in civil, criminal and administrative proceedings.
