Artykuł jest próbą odpowiedzi na pytanie, w jaki sposób przebiega kreacja podmiotu we współczesnych biografiach piłkarzy – pisanych zarówno w trakcie kariery, jak i po jej zakończeniu oraz po objęciu zawodu trenera. Autorka stara się ukazać sposób, w jaki podmiot biograficzny zostaje wikłany w rozmaite relacje, przede wszystkim zawodowe. Refleksji zostaje poddany również wpływ popkultury i marketingu na ostateczny kształt biografii. W tekście analizowane są najnowsze, XXI-wieczne biografie, z uwzględnieniem ich zmian w historii podgatunku sportowych biografii.

The article is an attempt to illustrate the method of subject creation in a contemporary football biography written during a career, after retirement as well as after becoming a professional coach/manager. The author tries to present the way of entanglement of the biographical subject in a variety of relationships – mainly on professional field. Reflection contains the influence of marketing and pop culture on the final form of biography. The author analyzes the most recent twenty-first century biographies and contains their changes over the history of sports biography subgenere.
