Designers have become aware of the importance of creatig strong emotinal experiences intertwined with new tangible products for the past decade, however an increased interest from firms has emerged in developing new service and business models as complimentary forms of emotion-driven innovation. This interdisciplinary study draws from the psychological sciences – theory of emotion – and the management sciences – business model literature to introduce this new innovation agenda. The term visceral hedonic rhetoric (VHR) is defined as the properties of a product, (and in this paper service and business model extensions) that persuasively induce the pursuit of pleasure at an instinctual level of cognition. This research paper lays the foundation for VHR beyond a product setting, presenting the results from an empirical study where organizations explored the possibilities for VHR in the context of their business. The results found that firms currently believe VHR is perceived in either their product and/or services they provide. Implications suggest shifting perspective surrounding the use of VHR across a firm’s business model design in order to influence the outcomes of their product and/or service design, resulting in an overall stronger emotional connection with the customer.

Artykuł przedstawia ogólną charakterystykę technologii chmury obliczeniowej jako czynnika sprzyjającego powstawaniu nowych modeli biznesu. Wzrost popularności tego rozwiązania determinuje projektowanie nowych rozwiązań w sferze koncepcji modeli biznesu. Środowisko Internetu sprzyja powstawaniu nowych modeli biznesu zorientowanych na wykorzystanie potrncjału tkwiacego w sieci. Coraz częściej "klasyczne" modele biznesu zostają modefikowane poprzez zastosowanie technologii chmur obliczeniowych zarówno w całości zmieniając sposób dostawy wartosci dla klientów lub w części wykorzystując metodę outsourcingu wybranych [rocesów biznesowych. Zastosowanie technologii chmur obliczeniowych stwarza nowe możliwości w kwestii organizacji łańcucha wartości orientując przedsiębiorstwa w kierunku outsourcingu niektórych elementów owego łańcucha.

The article presents the general characteristics of cloud computing techonogy as a factor conducive to the emergence of new business models. The increase in popularity of this solution determines the design of new solutions in the sphere of the concept of business models. Internet environment conducive to the emergence of new business models focused on the exploitation of the potential of the network. More and more 'traditional' business models are modified through the use of cloud computing technology in whole by changing the method of delivery value for customers ior in part, using the method of outsourcing of business processess.
