The Biblical parable of the Fishing Net provides data contained in images of the Church that can be applied to the contemporary pastoral situation. It is influenced by social changes that modify the approach of the Church and priests to the faithfuls and the role they fulfil towards them. The article pays attention to essential elements of pastoral care that set its proper goal.

Mocno oddziałują na nią zmiany społeczne modyfikujące podejście Kościoła i duszpasterzy do wiernych oraz roli, jaką pełnią wobec nich. Artykuł zwraca uwagę na istotne elementy pracy duszpasterskiej, które wyznaczają jej właściwy cel.
