Około 1510 roku św. Antoni z Supraśla rozpoczął pielgrzymkę na św. Górę Atos, aby prosić Boga o wybaczenie grzechów popełnionych wcześniej. Na początku wzmacniał się duchowo w pustelni zwanej „Typikarnica” założonej przez św. Sawę Serbskiego w 1200 roku. Jego męczeństwo miało miejsce 14 lutego 1516 w cerkwi w Salonikach, która w roku 1430 została zmieniona przez Turków w meczet.

Around 1510 Saint Anton of Suprasl embarked his pilgrimage to Mount Saint Athos with fervent attrition to sacrifice himself seeking God will remiss his sins committed by him earlier. At beginning he enstrenghted himself spiritually in a hermit called „Typikarnica” founded by Saint Sava Serb’s King in 1200. His martyrdom took place in 14 February 1516 in church which from 1430 was altered by Turks in a mosque.
