Certyfikacja leśna jest jednym z „miękkich”, ale może najbardziej skutecznym narzędziem wdrażania zasad zrównoważonej gospodarki leśnej, w tym równoważenia wszystkich funkcji lasów – przyrodniczej, ochronnej, społecznej i ekonomicznej, a także łagodzenia konfliktów i budowania wspólnych celów stron zainteresowanych zasobami leśnymi: społeczności lokalnych, biznesu, organizacji pozarządowych, społeczeństwa in gremio.

Forest certification is one of the “soft”, but perhaps one of the most effective tools to implement the principles of sustainable forest management, including balancing all functions of the forest - natural, protective, social and economic, as well as mitigating conflicts and building common objectives of the parties interested in forest resources: local communities, businesses, non-governmental organisations, society in gremio.
