The aim of the paper is to present the syntactic-semantic combinatorial of two adjectives that introduce, in their main uses, a temporal relation: anteriority (antiguo) and simultaneity (actual), as well as their equivalents in French and Polish. In order to determine exactly all possible uses of these adjectives we describe the classes of objects that appear in the position of the argument subject.
