Several types of such a format are singled out and dis- cussed including habitual and solemn, serious and comic, neutrál and ideologically marked, informative and fascinative (aesthetically infelt), rational and esoteric toneš. These are specifically manifested in modem media discourse. The main tendencies of its development which reflect the essence o f mass culture may be summarized as communicative distance shortening, ludic carnivalization of cul ture, ideological self-positioning of an active population part, transformation of infor- mation quests into hobbies, and formation of speciftc communities within communica tion space which resemble Service clubs.

Sprawujący urząd prezbitera kieruje konkretną wspólnotą w oparciu o „prawzór”, którym jest Jezus Chrystus. In persona Christi służy on jedności Kościoła.

The communicatio–communio, into which the believer is being integrated and in which he is participating, needs to be transferred into a communicative practice. The reason is that the existence of Jesus, which is being referred to during the communicatio–communio, is a pro–existence that has taken place in real life. Under such an ecclesiological perspective the task of communicatio–communio may only be understood as a service to the process of becoming a communio through communication. While the ordination for service to the communio is being performed “ad personam”, the ordained is carrier of the communication process and its medium at the same time. The purpose and content of this office is therefore the process of communication with the ultimate goal of achieving communio. Its bearer works in this office “in persona Christi” primarily in order to serve the communal–communicative unity of the church. The purpose is that people open themselves to and communicate with each other so that they may realise with conviction the vivacity and newness that keeps emanating from Jesus Christ. This means that the capacity for communication needs to be furthered in each parish and its various groups. The presbyter performs his office “in persona ecclesiae” by building his parish and creating and maintaining its sense of community. An appropriate definition of this office within the communio–ecclesiology of today is to serve as a signpost within the activities of the communio and the vital interaction between the God of the Holy Trinity and humans.
