Artykuł prezentuje rozwój nauk informatycznych, obejmujący pojawienie się ich nowej gałę-zi – informatyki społecznej. Przedstawiona zostaje geneza powstania tej dyscypliny: jakie było pierwotne źródło zapotrzebowania na nią, i leżące u jej podstaw główne idee. Tekst porusza także kwestię perspektyw absolwentów informatyki społecznej, a także ich szans na współczesnym rynku pracy.

The paper presents the development of computer science, including the emergence of its new branch – social informatics. It shows the genesis of the appearance of this discipline: what was the original source of its establishment, idea. The text also raises the issue of the prospects of social informatics graduates and their chances on the labor market.

The aim of the work is to answer the question whether modern technologies serve to better acquire knowledge in the field of geometry by children. The presented research results give the answer from the point of view of the math teacher in primary school.
