Reinterpretacja systemu fonologicznego współczesnego języka polskiego

W artykule została przedstawiona nowa propozycja systemu fonologicznego współczesnego języka polskiego. Nie jest to w pełni autorska propozycja, gdyż w wielu rozstrzygnięciach nawiązuje do prac Romana Laskowskiego (zob. Laskowski 1978/1999) i Marka Wiśniewskiego (zob. Wiśniewski 1997). Główną jej przesłanką było to, aby wyodrębnione jednostki fonologiczne były silnie obciążone funkcjonalnie i – w większym stopniu niż było to w dotychczasowych opisach – odzwierciedlały współczesną wymowę oraz zmiany w niej zachodzące. W inwentarzu fonemów nie odnotowano /k΄/, /g΄/, /i̯͂/ i /ł/. Problemy z tworzeniem opozycji wskazują, że w przyszłości należy uważnie śledzić procesy związane z realizacją w wymowie takich grup jak kie, gie, ńs, ńc, nk. Jednocześnie dowodzą, jak potrzebne są aktualne opracowania z zakresu ortofonii.

The article presents a new proposal for the phonological system of the contemporary Polish language. This is not a fully original proposal, as it refers to the works of Roman Laskowski (1978/1999) and Marek Wiśniewski (1997) in many of its decisions. The main premise was to ensure that the distinct phonological units were functionally significant and, to a greater extent than in previous descriptions, reflected contemporary pronunciation and the changes occurring in it. In the inventory of phonemes, /kʹ/, /gʹ/, /i̯͂/ and /ł/ were not noted. Issues with creating oppositions suggest that future research should carefully monitor processes related to the realization of such groups as kie, gie, ńs, ńc, nk. At the same time, these issues prove how necessary current studies in the field of orthoepy are.
