Towarowy transport drogowy stanowi znaczącą część systemu transportowego Polski i całej Unii Europejskiej. Artykuł przedstawia nowe wymogi związane z usługami przewozowymi do Wielkiej Brytanii po opuszczeniu UE oraz identyfikuje nowe koszty, których konieczność poniesienia związana jest ze spełnieniem procedur i obostrzeń przy świadczeniu usług przez przewoźników. Nowe zasady dla przemieszczania się towarów mają wpływ na strukturę kosztów polskich przewoźników oraz na schemat, wartość i w konsekwencji na jakość wykonywanych usług przewozowych.

Road freight transport constitutes a significant part of the transport system of Poland and the entire European Union. The article presents new requirements related to shipping services to Great Britain after leaving the EU and identifies new costs, the necessity of which is related to the fulfillment of procedures and restrictions in the provision of services by carriers. The new rules for the movement of goods have an impact on the cost structure of Polish carriers as well as the structure, value and, consequently, the quality of the provided transport services.
