Prognozowanie cen rolnych odgrywa dużą rolę we wspomaganiu decyzji produkcyjnych w gospodarstwach rolnych. Poprawne prognozowanie cen pozwala na ograniczenie ryzyka związanego z prowadzeniem działalności gospodarczej. W opracowaniu zastosowano modele autoregresyjne, za pomocą których wyznaczono prognozy cen podstawowych zbóż w skupie na 2010 rok. Do oceny modeli oraz prognoz wykorzystano współczynnik determinacji oraz średnie błędy ex post prognoz wygasłych.

The forecasting of crop prices is one of the most important factors in making decision on production farms. The appropriate forecast allows for limiting the risk connected with one’s economic activity. In this study autoregressive models have been used, which helped to determine the price forecast for crops in the purchasing centres in 2010. To determine the quality of forecast the average ex-post errors of the past forecasts have been used. The achieved results show that autoregressive models are an effective tool in forecasting the crop prices in Poland.
