Despite the rapid development of IT security systems, the number of crimes committed in cyberspace continues to rise. The adverse effects of being in cyberspace cause threats to mental, social and health life. Therefore, raising citizens’ awareness of cybercrime is essential. The article addresses the benefits and threats associated with legal responsibility in the context of combating cybercrime. Understanding the mechanisms for, among others, assessing security is the first step towards making rational decisions online. With the increasing risk of attacks that take advantage of imperfections in the human mind, it is the human factor that plays a decisive role in cybersecurity. Cybereducation uses theories of education and also impacts the quality of learning. It is not possible to deliver it effectively without digital resources. Besides legal responsibility, social and psychological relations, and theories of education, the author devotes much attention to modern information and communication technologies. He clearly outlines the introduction and characterises the most important concepts regarding cybereducation, pointing out legal responsibility and web threats, as well as the quality of education with the use of digital resources.

W ciągu ostatnich dwóch dekad dokonała się cicha rewolucja w wychowaniu, w wyniku której wyłoniła się jego nowa postać – cyberwychowanie. Jest ono rezultatem dynamicznego rozwoju technologiczno-informacyjnego i powstania cyberprzestrzeni, która stała się nowym środowiskiem aktywności człowieka oraz wychowania. Cyberśrodowisko stwarza odmienną, hipertekstualną rzeczywistość wychowawczą, która jest niejawna i oddziałuje w specyficzny sposób. Cyberwychowanie przebiega inaczej niż w realnym środowisku. Obydwa rodzaje oddziaływań wychowawczych – analogowe i cyfrowe – wzajemnie na siebie oddziałują, co prowadzi do modyfikacji procesu wychowania. Powstanie cybeśrodowiska wychowawczego oraz cyberwychowania stanowi duże wyzwanie dla dotychczasowej wiedzy i praktyki pedagogicznej. Ważnym zagadnieniem w tym kontekście jest problem cyberbezpieczeństwa wychowawczego oraz cyberprofilaktyki. Przedstawione analizy mogą stanowić argument na rzecz wyodrębnienia nowego nurtu w naukach o wychowaniu – cyberpedagogiki.

As a result of a quiet revolution in the last two decades, a new form of education has emerged. Cybereducation is the effect of the rapid advancement in information technology and the emergence of cyberspace as a new environment for human activity and education. The cyberenvironment creates a hypertextual educational reality that is hardly transparent and has a specific impact. Cybereducation is different than education in the real environment. Both types of educational interactions – analogue and digital – interact with each other, leading to a modification of the upbringing process. The emergence of the educational cybersecurity and cybereducation is a great challenge for the existing pedagogical knowledge and practice. An important issue in this context is the problem of educational cybersecurity and prevention of cyberbullying. The analyses presented in the article may serve as an argument to recognize cyberpedagogy as a new trend in education sciences.
