Celem artykułu była krytyczna analiza relacji ciało–maszyna w społeczeństwie postbiologicznym, w ujęciu Roya Ascotta z dwóch perspektyw (David Tomas): z jednej strony funkcjonowanie maszyny w ciele jako przejaw transgresji, z drugiej – funkcjonowanie ciała w maszynie jako wyzwanie transhumanizmu. Przyjęto pytanie badawcze: jaki obraz ciała proponuje i narzuca społeczeństwo postbiologiczne? Jak maszyna cybernetyczna funkcjonuje wewnątrz ciała ludzkiego oraz jak ciało funkcjonuje w maszynie? Czy podejmowane próby w ramach transhumanizmu nie zmierzają w kierunku internetu ciał? Przyjęto hipotezę, że przekraczanie kolejnych granic ciała w ramach transgresji i transhumanizmu zmienia relację ciało–maszyna. Artykuł ma charakter konceptualny oraz analityczno-opisowy. Hipoteza została potwierdzona.

The aim of the article is to provide a critical analysis of the body-machine relationship in the context of post-biological society (as viewed by Roy Ascott) from two perspectives (David Tomas): on the one hand the functioning of the machine in the body as a manifestation of transgression and on the other one—the functioning of the body in the machine as a challenge and assumption of transhumanism. The term ‘machine’ in this article is limited to the cybernetic machine. This article is limited to a critical analysis of a new type of person: a cyborg—a hybrid of a human being and a machine in a post-biological society. The following research question has been formulated: what image of the body is suggested, imposed, or maybe enforced by a post-biological society? How does the body function and influences the machine (the body inside the machine), how does the machine influence the body (the machine inside the body) and finally—how do these relationships relate to the broader social context? Are the attempts within hybridization and transhumanism not leading to the internet of bodies? Can an internet of bodies be developed just like the internet of things? The article accepts the hypothesis that crossing subsequent boundaries of the human body in a post-biological society changes the body-machine relationship. The nature of the article is analytical-descriptive and conceptual. The thesis has been confirmed.

Artykuł dotyczy spojrzenia na problematykę cyborgizacji oraz cyborga, rozważanych ostatnio w licznych tekstach pedagogicznych, z dystansu, który może mieć cyfrowy imigrant, będący jednocześnie cyfrowym tubylcem, ale także kulturoznawca i medioznawca, spoglądający na problemy pedagogiczne z nieco innej perspektywy. Stąd tekst rozważa conditio humana w erze cyborga oraz granice zastosowań sztucznej inteligencji i zgody na ingerencje inteligentnych technologii w nasze życie codzienne. Rozwijając pojęcie ekstensji i immersji, zwraca uwagę na komponenty wirtualizacji edukacji, zastanawiając się, czy może ona podążać w kierunku pedagogiki cyborgów czy może cyberpedagogiki, jakie mogą być tego potencjalne skutki oraz możliwe bariery. Omawia też trendy edukacyjne, wskazując na wymuszane przez nowe tendencje edukacyjne i nowe technologie zmiany roli nauczyciela, zmiany przestrzeni edukacyjnej, przy jednoczesnej trosce pedagogów o wychowanie zorientowane na osobę. Analizuje także pokolenia C i L-kreatywnych i leniwych, wskazując dysproporcję pomiędzy twórcami i odbiorcami zwirtualizowanych treści, rozważając kreatywność w czasach internetu, fragmentaryzację treści i brak dialogu, rezygnację czy wręcz odmowę wiedzy na rzecz informacji, narcyzm i samotność „połączonych, ale samotnych” oraz algorytmizację i automatyzację informacji w mediach społecznościowych. W podsumowaniu rozważa koncepcję autonomizacji edukacji cyborgów oraz postulaty dotyczące aksjologii maszyn vs aksjologii człowieka, mające istotne znaczenie nie tylko w kontekście edukacji i wychowania, ale generalnych pytań o conditio humana w erze cyborga.

The article deals with the issues of cyborgisation and cyborg, recently discussed in numerous of pedagogical texts, from a distance that may have a digital immigrant, who is also a digital native, but also a media and cultural studies researcher, looking at pedagogical issues from a slightly different perspective. Hence the text is contemplating conditio humana in the cyborg era and the limits of artificial intelligence and the interference of intelligent technologies in our daily lives. Developing the notion of extensiveness and immersion, it points to the components of educational virtualization, wondering whether it can follow cyborg pedagogy or cyberpedagogics, and what the potential effects and possible barriers are. It also discusses educational trends, pointing to the new educational tendencies and new technologies that change the role of the teacher, change the educational space, and at the same time educators care about person-oriented education. It also analyzes generations C and L-creative and lazy, pointing to the disparity between creators and receivers of virtualized content, considering creativity in the Internet, fragmentation of content and lack of dialogue, resignation or even denial of knowledge instead of information, narcissism and loneliness of “connected but alone” and algorithmisation and automation of information in social media. In conclusion, the concept of autonomy of cyborg education and the axiology of machines vs. human axiology are important, not only in the context of education and upbringing, but also in the context of general questions about conditio humana in the cyborg era.
